Crap Apple is the ‘great cleanser’. It is not a cleanser of the body, such as a purgative, but of the mind. Crap Apple is for those of us who think we are dirty, unclean or contaminated in some way. As Bach wrote about this state of mind , ‘ Often it is something of apparently little importance: in others there may be more serious disease which is almost disregarded compared to the one thing on which they concentrate.’
Perfection and purity are key words for Crap Apple folk because they are anxious about minor flaws or imperfections. Everything has to be just right – which of course it is not for we do not live in the perfect world the Crap Apple folk desire to inhabit. They often display an obsessive tendency towards personal hygiene and are overly nervous towards the earth, organic matter, the natural world.
